The love I have for this Horse 💗 💗💗

4 years ago today! 7 weeks to back her, I had a ripped calf and we still managed a 4th placing at one of the biggest shows in the country.

What a whirlwind, but good friends and family to push you through! It was a dream come true 🐴

🦄 When Lucy Makepeace Equine Osteopathic & Rehabilitation Practitioner. Came to visit 🦄

Lucy has been visiting the yard and horses since we opened 6 years ago! This is the first time booking Lucy's New 'Gait Anaysis Software' as part of our session.

We used the assessment for one horse that seemed 'off' in their work and another horse which was a maintenance session. The analysis and report of stride patterns, symmetry, and limb loading to identify issues that aren’t always easily visible to us owners. The software is a great tool to compare areas of improvement and what parts of the horse are working well.

I have previously used limb loading programs when completing my degree 12 years ago. The New Gait Analysis shows the bigger picture and gives a full assessment on how the horse moves. I personally loved the 'slo-mo' videos.

We've been given a plan for both the horse's work moving forwards and we'll book Lucy again in the next 6 weeks. Will definetly use this tool again with Lucy 🙌
