After months of preparation, the little ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐๐๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ ๐๐๐ฏ๐ฑ๐ฌ ๐๐ฐ arrived on the Isle of Man with a new engine, larger fuel tank, megaphone exhaust, new fairings and paint, plus countless hours of attention to detail to get it ready for the 37ยพ-mile Mountain Course.
For me, the week was all about learning and reaching milestones. Completing my newcomer lap led by ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐๐ป๐ป ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐, who controlled tha lap superbly and settled any nerves, was an incredible experience, followed by my first laps out on the course by myself.
It certainly wasnโt all plain sailing! The ๐ข๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ต๐ถ๐ฐ๐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ฌ๐ฌ suffered an engine failure at Joeyโs up on the mountain section, followed by another engine swap and plenty of late nights from the team to get it back out. We eventually managed qualifying and a race lap, only for a snapped throttle cable to end the Ultra Lightweight race.
The CB350 K4 gave us some fantastic moments. We managed qualifying laps, completed consecutive laps, and then got our first Classic TT race start and finish in the Historic Junior. Even losing a cylinder and stopping at Rencullen couldnโt stop us โ a quick push of the plug cap, a bump start and we were back on our way! ๐
Then came the final race: the three-lap Historic Senior 500cc race. Perfect conditions, a brilliant race and the little 350 running in 10th placeโฆ until it expired at Hailwood Heights. Gutted is an understatement after everything the team had put into it, especially knowing that a few more miles could have given us a really good finish.
But thatโs racing at the TT Mountain Course.
Iโve come away with a huge amount of experience, some incredible memories and an even greater respect for the challenge of this amazing place.
Massive thanks to ๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด, ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ต๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ, for their unbelievable effort throughout the week. The late nights, engine swaps, preparation and constant problem-solving never stopped. Andy Fenton and Steve Hebdon who supported us during race days and on the island. I genuinely couldnโt have wished for a better team. โค๏ธ
A huge thank you also to the Mike Hailwood Foundation for the support they give newcomers, and to everyone who helped, encouraged and supported us throughout the Classic TT.
And thanks to all the photographers who captured the memories:

The bikes might not have made it to every chequered flag, but we kept pushing, kept learning and kept getting back out there.
What an experience. I wouldnโt change it for the world. โค๏ธ๐
