Acupuncture - Dry Needling

I use acupuncture to treat multiple injuries throughout the body such as neck pain, lower back pain and tendinopathies to name a few. But what is it?

◼️ Developing from traditional Chinese acupuncture, western acupuncture (dry needling) uses knowledge of anatomy to stimulate the muscles by penetrating the skin with a thin needle to treat underlying muscular trigger points for the management of pain and movement impairment.

◼️ The goals of which are;
Reduce pain
Reduce swelling
Reduce soft tissue tension
Increase blood flow
Restore movement
Increase relaxation

I offer dry needling as part of my treatments, if required and the clients happy for me to do so.
