đź’“Play is one of the most effective tools for keeping relationships fresh and excitingđź’“
As a part of my 1st post, this is the next big factor in having a good relation with YOUR family
Just because we’re adults, that doesn’t mean we have to make life all about work
Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, we stopped playing. When we take out some leisure time, we’re more likely to zone out in front of the TV or computer than engage in fun, rather than playing as we did as children. But play is not just essential for kids; it can be an important source of relaxation and stimulation for adults as well.
Play is extremely crucial for a child’s development, it is also beneficial for people of all ages.
Play can help YOU release stress, anxiety and will free YOUR mind from work which has surrounded YOUR mind 24/7
Have YOU ever wondered why some businesses have a playroom or playtime?
Its because now companies have realized that games can also help in increasing YOUR productivity and will promote good working relations between co-workers
If YOURS haven't, they will soon...
Now we know playing game is beneficial for people of all ages so let's talk about how it can help in child development and how it can strengthen YOUR bond with YOUR family:
Confident
With time we all have realized how much confidence and communication skills are important
As to be worth 50% more than what YOU are today can be achieved by communication skills
And YOU can't be a good communicator without having confidence in what YOU speak
We all want our kids to have this incredible skill which will help them achieve their dreams and make YOU proud
But isn't it better we start teaching them early and at home without any cost?
It doesn't matter whether YOU are Rolling on the floor with your baby or getting down on your knees to play with a young child. It is vitally important—both to your child’s development and to your own health.
When YOU play with YOUR child YOU not will find a way to relax but also strengthen YOUR bond with YOUR partner and children
Playing with YOUR family Sharing laughter and fun can foster empathy, compassion, trust, and intimacy with others
YOUR child will learn how to disagree, how to not consider a failure not a failure but an opportunity to improve ourselves
Their verbal communication, body language, boundaries, cooperation, and teamwork will improve
Rather than finding comfort in their friends or Digital devices.
They are going to find comfort in YOU which will give them the confidence to share each and everything with YOU
"Make him feel special"
This stands true as kids are not interested in YOUR work, money they are interested in YOUR TIME
And no parent wants his child to get away from them, right?
Kids learn the most when they play
It develops social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
It stimulates a child’s imagination and makes kids better adjusted, smarter, and less stressed.
As Fred Rogers said:
Play gives children a chance to practice what they’re learning.
Let YOUR child play just be a part of the game so they can learn and ask questions to develop a sense of curiosity
And there is nothing wrong if he may be a superhero one day, a doctor the next, and a daddy the day after. This allows children to explore a variety of different scenarios, reactions, and conclusions. Studies show that children who pretend play have more sophisticated levels of interaction with others and higher cognitive ability.
YOUR task is to answer their questions and be an active partner in the game
I think now YOU have realized how important it is for YOU to take 30-40 min every day out to play game
As it holds the same importance for YOU as YOUR child
When we get busy in our 9-5 work our creative part of the brain goes to sleep
And playing games is the simplest way to not only active YOUR creative part of the brain but it also improves YOUR and YOUR child's problem solving skills also
YOU don't have to go out and play cricket, football or basketball, etc
YOU can even play in YOUR office breaks like playing cards during launch break, joking with co-workers, playing chess, etc
It is a State of mind
In the words of George Bernard Shaw, “We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.”
Do share what YOU like most physical games or Digital Games?
