Loughborough Acrobatics offers a range of classes and gymnastics disciplines, including general gymnastics, competitive acrobatics and tumbling, freestyle/parkour, pre-school (under 5's) and adult classes (18+). With over 300 members, 10 qualified coaches and judges, the club operates 6 times a week, offering classes termly, yearly as well as open pay as you go sessions (selected sessions only). W

e aim to make gymnastics accessible to all the community and offer a varied programme to cater for the needs of different groups from 6 months old to teenagers to the 50+. We were one of the first clubs in the East Midlands to gain its Gym Mark accreditation and although a fairly young club have experienced growing success over the past few years having won over 40 regional titles, 6 British and 2 international titles along with many more medals.

**Notice to all members**

We had to evacuate the building tonight (Thursday 12th March) as a precaution due to a large tree that split in half and fell into a neighbouring unit.

The fire brigade has deemed the risk of life to be too great with the instability of the remaining 1/2 of the tree and therefore, we must stay out of the building until it has been safely assessed and removed.

We hope the council will be sending people tomorrow morning to sort or at least give us an idea of what will happen next.

Please keep an eye on emails regarding tomorrow's sessions. We will keep everyone updated on our progress throughout the day.

On Sunday we had a group of new young leaders having their first training session together. As a club we know the importance of having a pathway for those that are interested in coaching and we hope that some of these will become fully fledged coaches for the club in the future.

This group did brilliantly and we are looking forward to seeing them helping out in sessions throughout the week in the gym.

What a great week we had last week. The total raised was just over £9000, which is incredible! Thank you so much to everyone that attended, our volunteers for helping organise and man all the stalls throughout the week and of course to the gymnasts and coaches for doing such a brilliant job all week.

Below is the coaches routine for anyone who may not have seen it. Aren't we lucky to have coaches that can still perform! Parents routine next year perhaps!?

Thank you to everyone who supported the Christmas shows over the last week. We hope all the gymnasts and spectators enjoyed it?
