🌐 England Talent Pathway athletes have been getting primed to return to action thanks to a series of virtual training camps.

At the weekend it was the turn of the England U19 Women (pictured) 📹 Athletes analysed match clips from Team GB’s historic win over 🇩🇿 from London 2012, and quizzed Assistant Coach Rachel Hutt, who was part of that historic side, about her experience.

Volleyball England

👏 Good luck to Javier Bello & Freddie Bialokoz and Saskia Freitas Schoffel & Lauren Huggins on the first day of the U22 CEV Beach Volleyball European Championships in Izmir, Turkey 🇹🇷 today.

🤕 Due to an unfortunate injury to Joaquin Bello, Freddie Bialokoz was called up to represent England and partners Javier in the competition. We wish Joaquin a speedy recovery!

The men’s first match is against reigning champions Russia 🇷🇺 this morning. 🇨🇿 The Czech Republic are their opponents this afternoon and then tomorrow England face another tough test as Javier & Freddie go up against U21 World Champions Italy 🇮🇹

🗨️ You cannot fault their attitude: “You have to beat everyone to be the best so it’s a nice draw…”

In the women’s competition, England were once more lucky to get a bye in their draw and will automatically proceed to the next round.

In the meantime, they face Latvia 🇱🇻 this morning and the 🇨🇿 Czech Republic tomorrow in a jostle for as high a finish as possible.

💥 Katie Keefe and Isabelle Tucker have started England’s U18 Beach Volleyball European Championships with a bang after beating France 2-1 (21-17, 20-22, 15-11)!

The match took place this morning, on the first day of the Championships, in Izmir, Turkey.

In the men’s competition, Enrique Bello and Peter Soczewka face Moldova this morning, followed by Sweden this afternoon and Turkey tomorrow. Katie and Isabelle are also due to play Turkey tomorrow.
