This is the official supporters, followers, alumni and students page for the Loughborough Students' Touch Rugby. Here you'll be able to stay up to date with what the club is doing, achievements, competitions, social events etc! So give us a like or a follow to see what the club gets up to this year! We also use our Loughborough Students' Touch Rugby Facebook group for current members only, to orga

nise trainings, squads etc. Loughborough Students' Touch Rugby was set up in 2012 and was the first competitive University Touch Rugby club in the country. We cater to players of all abilities from complete beginners up to international standard players. We compete within the University National Touch Series (UNTS) throughout the year and also host yearly Tours to play competitions in Europe. Our club philosophy is centred around the ability to compete at the highest University standard whilst keeping the strong social aspect that has been an integral part of the club's success over the years. We are always looking to welcome new members and there is a place for everyone within our Touch family here at Loughborough Students' Touch Rugby

And that’s a wrap! - A massive well done to all our squads at last UNTS of the season! Here is a little round up of the day ✨

Our 1s started the day off strong making it to the semi finals, sadly missing out on the finals after their game against Exeter 1s (5-2). In the 3rd / 4th playoffs they came up against Nottingham Trent and after a tough game our 1s finished 4th on the day however took home 3rd place overall 🥉

Our 2s put up a solid performance in the pool rounds, drawing 2 games against Exeter 3s and Cambridge and just loosing out against Surrey. They finished the day and season coming 14th overall! 🎉

Our 3s smashed it and came home as the Shield Winners in their first ever UNTS, winning their final game against Oxford Brookes (5-3).
This is a massive achievement considering it was the first touch tournament for 6 of our players!! Overall, our 3s placed 23rd overall 🤩

A big shoutout to for all the coaching he has done this season and to the committee for organising and helping through out the tournaments. As always, another thank you to for another great University Touch Series, we can’t wait for next year!!

Finally we have a few notable mentions aswell from the season:
- Tied Most tries scored in a single tournament (Male)
- Tied Most tries scored in a single tournament (Female)
- 5th place for the overall Male Season Top Scorer
