So here it is, a week today the lads head to Coalville town to face CFA in the presidents cup final. A lot of preparation has gone in, the lads are working hard and promise to leave everything out on the pitch to bring home the trophy.
It has everything to be an exciting game and hopefully both teams put on a good display of football in what is sure to be a tasty encounter.

This Sunday saw us take on Ratby in the cup quarter final… both teams came out firing in the first half with 4 goals inside half an hour.
The first goal from Parker with an edge of the box first time finish with thanks to the cut back from Bradley Mitchell.
The Second goal was a corner whipped in by Ethan Lofthouse where Parker rose first to flick it into the net.
Just before half time we took the lead through a Jake Leatherland Volley into the roof of the net from a Ben Anstee flick on.
The 4th goal saw Parker cross the ball to land at the feet of Nathan Brown who kept his composure and lifted the ball over the keeeper.

Overall a well played QF from both teams, many chances and a quick tempo to the game. We await to see who we play in the Semi final.

Unfortunately we bow out of the county cup at the QF stage. We came up against a very clinical Shepshed Oaks side that we wish all the best for in the next round.

We go again this weekend with a last 16 cup game against Brausntone United. A game which ended up 1-1 last time out so set to be a good game.

This morning saw us run out 6-1 winners to start 2026 on the right foot.

After a cagey first 20 minutes we soon found form and made sure the game was put to bed by the hour mark.
We progress to the 1/4 finals against local rivals Shepshed Oaks.

As it stands next weekend we play Iannis at home, looking to continue our start of 2026 with another win.

Sunday saw us travel away for the final time of 2025.

We were facing a hungry and determined Coalville that in the first half pushed the boys, however a game of two halves saw us come out firing in the second half. Clinical finishing and possession control allowed us to get all 3 points.

We have one more home game in 2025 which is a county cup last 16 game against Aylestone. Winner to go on to face Shepshed Oaks in the QF.

Over the last couple of weeks, the club has been going through some significant change. Probably the biggest change is seeing a new manager come in to take over the club.

So introducing your new club manager; Ben Naylor, Ben comes with experience and has taken on the role of player manager. We believe he is the right man for the job and to take the club forward. Some words from your new manager …
