East Midlands Club Champions Crowned at Club Relays

East Midlands clubs came together for a fantastic day of team racing at the Club Relays, with the 2026 East Midlands Club Championship titles decided across the Open, Female and Mixed categories. It was great to see everyone enjoying the racing, despite some typical British weather!

Off That Couch Masters produced the standout performance of the championships, completing the course in 2:59:10 to win the Open category and be crowned overall East Midlands Club Champions.

In the Open competition, TFN Toe Ticklers secured second place in 3:02:27, with Newark Ninjas taking third just 24 seconds behind in 3:02:51.

The Female title went to Type 2 Fun of Derby Tri Club, who finished in 3:45:24. Ladies That Louth of Louth Tri Club claimed second place in 3:53:25, while fellow Louth team Worth a Tri completed the podium with a time of 4:10:59.

There was particularly close racing in the Mixed category, where just 22 seconds separated the top two teams. Swimple Souls of Bingham Tri Club took the East Midlands title in 3:41:34, narrowly ahead of The Double Dates of Belper Tri Club in 3:41:56. Bingham Tri Club also claimed third place through Tired Team Copenhagen, who finished in 3:46:20.
