Realising it’s almost April and I’ve barely posted this year.👀

Still very much here, still doing my thing and trying to keep on top of a busy gym, whilst striving for balance all round.

Over the last 3 months I’ve been focusing on some of the basics.

1️⃣ Sleep quality and hitting a minimum of 7hours, I need to push for 8 hours but this is something I’ve always struggled with.

2️⃣ Training Intensity, specific and tailored for my goals

3️⃣ Protein intake, reducing carbs to a level where I’m well fuelled but not in excess

4️⃣ Cardio, daily step consistency, rowing is my new fave

5️⃣ Stress load, reducing stress helps me make better food choices, therefore improves training and in turn reduces self sabotage

We only get one life and balance is so important, so enjoy and celebrate the little things. Whilst taking consistent steps to improve your health and feel good while doing it. 🫶

April is a big month with exciting things happening, so although you might not see me posting on here much, I’m still leaning into my daily habits to get fitter and stronger but most importantly to feel good!

Thank you for letting me be a part of this, I’m one of the lucky ones who gets to do a job that I truly love but I couldn’t do it without you believing in me!

I don’t post as much these days, but as January approaches I’m reminded of just how far I’ve come, both personally and professionally.

I was that person that made a New Year’s resolution and I changed my whole life around. It wasn’t a quick fix and it wasn’t easy it came with sacrifices but I can hand on heart say I’ve never looked back.

If I can help inspire or motivate anyone, please know it’s not too late to start. You too can feel good about yourself again, you can lose weight and you can be strong. You can feel fit and be active more than you realise, you just need to find the right support to help you achieve it!

A good friend kindly reminded me that we’re knocking on 50, thanks for that .beswick 😂 and in a very positive way has relit something inside of me.

Turning 40 was a huge thing for me and I now realise turning 50 is going to be much the same. Yes I’ve got a few years, not many but a few to make some really good life choices, time to up my training, dial into my nutrition and bring them inline. Like anyone my age, hormones play a huge part and has been challenging not to mention how the gym has been at the forefront of my daily decisions.

Being consistent will always help physically but for me not being able to train as much due to lack of time has really been a struggle emotionally.

For the record, I know I’m not overweight, I don’t overly indulge in sweet treats or alcohol but it’s more about how I feel in my skin and just feeling better in myself. Time to prepare this body and mind of mine to hitting the next big milestone the happiest and healthiest way possible!

Ladies ✨

Do you ever feel like no matter what you do, the energy just isn’t there anymore? The things that used to work for weight loss don’t seem to work now and you struggle for any form of routine and consistency?

You’re not alone and lots feel this way 🫶

As we hit our 40s (and beyond), our hormones shift.

That means:
🌙 Energy levels can dip
⚖️ Weight can feel harder to manage
💭 Motivation doesn’t always come easy
💔 And sometimes, we just don’t feel like “ourselves” anymore

I know it can feel like your body has a mind of its own, the truth is, hormones change, energy dips, and motivation isn’t always easy.
But you know what? You’ve still got so much to give, and feeling good again is absolutely possible.💫

How you move, how you rest, how you fuel your body just needs some care, some thought.

What a month August has been, it’s been so good in and out the gym.

Some huge changes with a new home, celebrations, concerts and of course running the gym, my second home.😂

A great month enjoying a good balance of everything, training, nutrition and quality time with friends and family.

September is looking super busy with work, routines with food and training a priority and ensuring everyone is feeling good, moving well and focused on their goals. Me included 🫶

Real People, Real Results 💫

My client Ruth, set herself a 10 week challenge with a holiday in the middle and she told me what she’d like to achieve and it’s safe to say she absolutely smashed it.

Dropping overal body fat and weight was the ultimate goal, soon the focus shifted to reducing visceral fat too, to help improve her long term health. She realised very quickly she was gaining so much more energy and strength in her everyday life.

Using her words, she said she used to struggle walking for long distances, especially the large hills and lacked power to get to the top. Only a few weeks in, she soon found herself powering through and was enjoying the feeling of her new found strength and stamina.

This wasn’t just about getting out and walking more, or getting in the gym and training twice a week but moving with a focus and intensity to help her achieve her goals.

Changing her food has been instrumental too, in achieving over 16kg weightloss, that’s approximately 2 and a half stone, in just 10 weeks.

It’s been an absolute pleasure to help and see her go from strength to strength. Now to maintaining, having balance and hit some of those bigger hills!

A quick workout which consisted of 30 mins row and 20 mins of an ab circuit, was today’s go to!

Remember working out might be the last thing you want to do today, but sometimes you have to push yourself to do it anyway!

When motivation is low, willpower and determination is key to getting it done, your future self is going to thank you for it later! 💫
