We believe that societies are an integral part of the Lboro experience and Cook’n’Bake is a place to learn, create, and most importantly socialise. Whether you love to cook and bake, have never cooked or baked, or
simply want to get out and meet some new people, C’n’B is a welcoming and accepting place for everyone. Over this past year we’ve held events from teaching our members the basics of Hummus to collaborating with other societies like the Japanese society with our Mochi workshop, and even taking C’n’B into town to learn from the very best of our local community (yes, that’s right, the loved Pizza making workshop at Jam Garden). It is important to us as a society to host a range of events, always with individuals’ dietary requirements in mind. But it’s all well and good trying just to explain what we do here at C’n’B, what’s better is actually showing you. Over the next few weeks, we’re going to be giving you some taster events to get involved in. This is a great way for you to get a sense of what, and who we are as a society.
