Okay, so i'm breaking my own rule here and talking about the 'C' word. I will say it once then we will only refer to it as 'The C Word' between now and at least mid December. That alright with you? Cool. I'm talking about Christmas. The excuse of all excuses. But today, I want you to think about how you can change your mindset, at least on the lead up. How can you feel your absolute best between now and then?
There are 69 days until the big day. Say you eat 3 meals a day. That's 207 meals. Now let's be real and say that you are going to eat well 80% of the time. So now we're at 165 meals. 165 good choices between now and then. If you can eat well for them and be reasonable when you don't eat well you could easily lose 7lb between now and then.
Now let's say you add into that a 30 minute run 3 times a week. You can expect to burn around 200 calories in that time. So over the next 10 weeks that's another 2lbs gone. (Couch to 5k is an amazing place to start here)
Add in an additional 20 minutes a day of walking too- any which way, break it down to 2 lots of 10 or 4 lots of 5. and you have yourself another lb.
