☀️School is still out for summer, an explore of the Fowey estuary could be just what is needed. With plenty of doubles and singles for hire, its a perfect family activity. ☀️

Whether it be a paddle for a pint, ice cream, fish and chips or a coffee, please see tide times below. 🚣‍♂️🍻🍷🍦🍤

Saturday - Tide 11:11 (water from approx 8:45 to 13:30)
Sunday - Tide 12 noon (water from approx 9:30 to 14:30)
Monday - Tide 13:30 (water from approx 11:00 to 15:00)
Tuesday - Tide 15:00 (water from approx 12:30 to 17:30)
Wednesday - Tide 16:15 (water from approx 14:00 to 18:30)
Thursday - Tide 17:15 (water from approx 14:45 to 19:30)
Friday - Tide 18:00 (water from approx 15:00 to 20:30)

🌞 It has been a while since our last post, but it as been quite hectic. That said, we are heading into some beautiful afternoon tides towards the end of this week. 🌞

Whether it be a paddle for a pint, ice cream, fish and chips or a coffee, please see tide times below. 🚣‍♂️🍻🍷🍦🍤

Tuesday - Tide 17:30 (water from approx 15:00 to 20:00)
Wednesday - Tide 18:20 (water from approx 15:30 to 21:00)

Friday - Tide 20:00 (water from approx 17:00 to 22:30)
Saturday - Tide 20:45 (water from approx 17:30 to 23:15)

Hightide for the weekend is as follows and we should have water for around 2 hours either side of highwater.

Friday - 4pm
Saturday - 5pm
Sunday - 5:45pm

High tide at St Winnow for the weekend are around 11am on Saturday and 11:45 on Sunday, perfect for a midday paddle up and down the river 🚣‍♂️

** Remember that St Winnow is a tidal part of the river, so this needs to be taken into account when hiring kayaks **

The weather is looking good for most of the weekend, what better way to enjoy the sun with play on the river. You may wish to paddle to Lerryn for pint, Lostwithiel for an ice cream and chill on by the bridge or just improve your technique doing circles at St Winnow.

This evening saw my maiden paddle for 2024 from St Winnow Camping to Lerryn for a drink and a bite to eat. On the evening tide, it was a beautiful, quiet trip down the Fowey Estuary and a great way to unwind after a busy day.
