⚓ A Wee Hello From The Galley! ⚓❤️
We've been a little quiet on social media lately, but we wanted to reassure all our fabulous customers that we're still here, doing what we love! 🐟🍟
Behind the scenes, we've had a few personal and health hurdles to overcome this year. It's not always been plain sailing, but we're getting there, one day at a time! ❤️
And while I've been out of action, I really want to give a huge shout-out to our fantastic team, who have stepped up, pulled together and kept The Galley ticking along. I'm incredibly proud of them all! 🥰
A special mention to Lucy, who has been taking on more responsibilities and is currently training towards becoming our manager. It's lovely to see her growing in confidence and taking on this exciting new challenge. ❤️
I'd also like to say a very special thank you to Jamie and my family for all their love, help and care while I've been recovering. Juggling work and looking after someone who is absolutely hopeless at sitting still and doing nothing can't be easy! 😂 I'm sure their patience has been tested more than once, but I really couldn't do it without them. ❤️
And then, just when we weren't expecting it, we got the wonderful news that The Galley had been named a finalist for North East Best Chip Shop! 🏆🎉
Unfortunately, due to my ongoing recovery, we won't be able to attend the awards evening, but we'd like to wish every single finalist the very best of luck. Have a fantastic night, enjoy every minute and celebrate all your hard work!
At the end of the day, we're all winners, doing what we love! ❤️
And finally, to our wonderful customers, thank you for your continued loyalty, kindness and support. We might have been a little quieter on here, but we definitely haven't forgotten about you!
