Andddddd breathe…

As mentioned, it’s been a tricky 12 months with a complete change in staff and the departure of some key members over the years - but to come out the other side with 2 trophies, 2 runners up and a RAF Plate Semi Final, despite the change of faces and deployments that have hampered us, it is an incredibly proud achievement!

From the foundations of the Community Cup to the double cup triumph of last month, Ross and Aidan are incredibly proud of the lads for all their efforts and commitment during a relentless year especially as this is their first experience of coaching.

We would like to give a special thankyou to the competition organisers for their flexibility in fixture schedules, each team for their patience in entering the base and the nuances of being an away team here at Lossie and to Lossie FC for 2 incredible finals and allowing the lads to showcase their hard work on an immaculate pitch.

A big thankyou to our sponsors - The Beach Hut Moray Coast Tackle & RAF Central Fund for their support in improving our kit and facilities which makes this club what it is.

And finally, to all those involved with the club whether that’s playing, staffing or supporting in any way - being allowed to take a break from the crucial role these lads play day to day in their primary role is imperative for their development and resilience here at Lossie.

A well deserved break in order.

FULL TIME!
WE’VE DONE IT AGAIN!!! CHAMPIONS AGAIN OLE OLEEEEEE!

Fiercely contested match against a tough opposition, but the lads from the first to the last dominated the football! A few shaky moments where we allowed ourselves to get dragged into the darker side of football - but ultimately run out deserved winners after going down to 10 men late on.

Big thank you to Lossiemouth FC for their facilities and hospitality!

Big thank you to Aberlour Villa for a competitive contest as always! Heated moments but as is the territory of two top teams who want to be successful!

CUP FINAL DAY🏆🏆:

Today marks the end of an incredible 12 months from the lads with a third cup final of the year.

We hope all from station, serving and ex serving, can find the time to come support their colleagues down at Lossiemouth FC as we take on the formidable Arbelour Villa.

Get in the group chats, the work groups and anything else to get as many folk down as possible for what will be a fantastic game. Having already picked up a trophy this month, we look to make it a domestic double today!

UPCOMING:
Our Final game of the season ends with the momentous task of dethroning last years treble winners, and this year League Champions Arbelour Villa at grant park.

Always a tough task, the lads are raring to get some much due revenge against a side that have proved so difficult to overhaul this season.

An incredible 12 months for all involved with the Club - and with the secretary and former manager Daniel Hall saying farewell at the end of the season, a cup double would be the perfect way to wave good bye to someone so important to the club over the years.

Captain Cal Devine, ever present and a HUGE part of our successes since 2022, will also be playing his last game in the Moray Welfare league this Sunday and the lads are as hungry as ever to send a huge member of the club out with a bang.

W J TEWNION CHAMPIONS 2026!

A few pictures from the celebrations Friday night! An incredible achievement from all involved in the club to get us to where we are now following a complete change in staff 12 months ago.

BUT… we aren’t done yet, this is just a taste of what this squad is capable of achieving as we gear for a massive showdown vs Arbelour Villa on the 27 September.

Come cheers the lads on and see more scenes like this, and enjoy the hard work that these lads put in week in week out along side their primary roles.

W J Tewnion Memorial Trophy ✅
Mike Simpson Memorial Trophy…⏳

Congratulations to RAF Lossiemouth, winners of the 2026 WJ Tewnion Memorial Trophy. ⚽️🏆

Hopeman took the lead on 18 minutes through Connor McArthur, but a Scott Harrison own goal levelled the tie before half time. A strong second half for RAF Lossie saw them take the lead on 51 minutes via Harry Williams. David Gofton and Scott Miller added to the score, with Harry Williams scoring a fifth in injury time.

THE LADS HAVE DONE IT!!!!
First Trophy in the district league for 4 years and it has been thoroughly deserved!!!

A sublime display full of intensity and grit see us shake off local rivals Hopeman in terrific fashion!

It's Cup Final week, with the Tewnion up first this Friday night. ⚽️🏆

Both clubs are recent holders of the trophy, with RAF Lossiemouth lifting it in 2022, and Hopeman in 2019 and 2017.

A big thank you to Lossiemouth FC for hosting us once again, it should be a cracking game back at Grant Park.
