We're proud to announce our long held effort to end plastic drop net crab-lines entirely in the next two years has been joined by Jack Bray & Son - Looe and The Guildhall Market!

We've been working with Looe Marine Conservation Group and Behaviour Change Cornwall since 2017 with and invested into new producers of Eco-Crablines: from the Darlingtons amazing locally-recycled and made lines, to inspiring imported lines made for a price that now sell around the UK - all plastic free and coloured naturally these lines now pose less threat to wildlife or propellers in the harbour, rotting away to harmless drift wood overtime.

We've also worked with Looe Marine Conservation Group and Behaviour Change Cornwall for years now to create, pay for and install new signs and recycling bins along the harbour to tackle the plastic discarded into the sea by some visitors.

We hope to phase out drop nets over the next year in The Schooner, Mayflower Studio and Banjo Beach Shop. Followed by the end of all plastic lines by 2022.
