Longridge Youth Darts Academy joins the Target Darts Family! 🎯

Since launching in January 2023, this Preston based academy has grown from just 10 members to 35 young players, creating a welcoming space for ages 6–17 to develop their skills and enjoy the game.

With a strong focus on technique, match practice, and building confidence, the academy stands out for its incredible community spirit and supportive environment.

For those that went to Morecambe vault yesterday we hope you had a good day.

Today we know quite a few have entered the Darts Team Red Rose Darts Academy 1st ever youth comp today. Good luck and remember to keep calm and don't let others distract you.

It's just you and the board, play your own game and don't worry about the dart you have thrown, there is nothing you can follow about that only what you throw next. 🎯

Red Rose Darts Academy are holding a youth knockout on Sunday 23rd November at 2pm, £10 entry.

We are running our first youth comp next Sunday 23rd Nov from 3pm. Warm ups from 2.30pm and it should wrap up around 6pm.

This is a social tournament for fun and competitive development. Strictly 11 - 17 years old only and players must bring their own darts.

We have 6 places left, so if your child fancies getting involved please drop us a message to register or pop into the store.

All games will be played on our automatic scoring systems so there is no requirement for players to mark.

We have the capacity for 16 players and everyone will play a minimum of 4 games.

📝HOW TO REGISTER📝

It is £10 per person, and you can register in person at our store, by messaging us on social media, or by calling 01772 282000.

Payment MUST be made no less than 48hrs prior to the tournament date. Registration fees are strictly non-refundable.

💰PRIZE MONEY💰

All money in will be paid out as vouchers to use in our store. We are paying prize money in this format to support our staffing costs and overheads to run the tournament.

Top half winner - £80 voucher
Top half runner up - £30 voucher
Bottom half winner - £25 voucher
Highest checkout on the night - £25 voucher

‼️FORMAT‼️

🎯501 (MUST THROW FROM REGULATION DISTANCE)
🎯4 x groups of 4 in a round robin league format. Best of 3 legs.
🎯Top 2 in each group qualify for top half knockout. Bottom 2 in each group qualify for bottom half knockout.
🎯Knockout - QF Best of 3 legs, SF Best of 3 legs, Final Best of 5 legs.
🎯If any leg goes to 150 darts (75 darts each player), it will be "bull off" to win the leg.
