Longforgan Bowling Club is saddened to announce the passing of their former president, Jim Wilkie. A respected leader and dedicated member of our community, Jim served not only as World and Scottish Bowls umpire in 1984, but also held the presidency of the Dundee Indoor Bowling Club in 1981, the Dundee Ex-Presidents in 1979, and the City of Dundee Association in 1990. His legacy of dedication and leadership will be fondly remembered. He was undoubtedly the most prominent, dedicated and respected man to represent Longforgan Bowling Club.
His dedication and leadership will be fondly and deeply remembered, In every game played and every gathering held, Jim’s spirit will remain a cherished part of our club’s story.
Our thoughts go out to his family at this difficult time.
