FIXTURES!
Finally, after a delayed start to the season due to prolonged hot and dry weather this summer, we have the confirmed dates and times for our 1s and 2s for 2026/27!

Both teams start their season on the 26th September, when the 1s start their season away to Rye Rugby Club, a new team to put into practice our evolved gameplan, and the 2s are at home to a familiar team in Canterbury Rugby Club 4s.

Start of the season delayed

After careful consideration and consultation with clubs across England, the RFU has decided to delay the start of the competitive community game season until the week commencing Monday 21 September.

The RFU recognises this will be disappointing for clubs, players and volunteers who have been preparing for the new season, but the decision follows consideration of a range of factors. For full details please follow this link.

LEAGUES!

Confirmed leagues and opposition for the 26/27 season.

1XV captain Alfie leads the club into the upcoming season and a league, with lots of clubs we haven't faced before or for a while. Many new challenges to face, players to experience and grounds to travel to!
Our 2XV are also under new captaincy with Tom taking over from club player-chairman Michael. Moving from Rural C to Rural B, there's a mixture of clubs we know well and clubs that are an unknown to us as well.

RUGBY IS BACK!
Join us for the start of the 2026-27 season.
Our 1s move to a new league, with the majority of sides unfamiliar to us with the fixtures soon to be announced. A lot to learn and develop in this new league.
The 2s remain in their league after a solid finish last season and look to continue bringing players into the club and nurturing their talents!
Both men's sides welcome new on field captains with Alfie stepping up for the 1s in Dom's absence and Tom taking over from Mike.
Our Ladies side have moved to the Kent Inner Warrior, a social group for Ladies teams to play games as and when they want.

Female Inner Warrior - 20th June from 11am.

New Ash Green Village Day - 27th June from midday on the rugby field in the village.

180th Rowing Regatta - join us and our race boats in Gravesend to celebrate their anniversary.

And eagerly anticipate the start of the 26-27 season with matches starting in September, and pre-season training from July!
