No gym? No problem.

Get moving with this quick 15-minute bodyweight workout designed to build strength, improve fitness, and leave you feeling energized for the weekend.

✅ Squats – 40 sec
✅ Push-Ups – 40 sec
✅ Lunges – 40 sec
✅ Plank – 40 sec
✅ Mountain Climbers – 40 sec
✅ Glute Bridges – 40 sec

🔄 Complete 3 rounds
⏱️ Rest 20 seconds between exercises

Increasing your step count is one of the easiest and most effective ways to improve your health and wellbeing

As the weather gets better make the most of it by taking regular walks

As a target look to increase your weekly steps by 10%

Applied consistently over the next 8 weeks will increase your physical fitness and mental health considerably

Walking is the most underrated activity you can utilise

Consider these ideas to help you increase your weekly steps;

- take short walking breaks when at work….just a few minutes ever hour will make a difference

- use the stairs rather than the lift

- park further away from your destination and walk the rest

- listen and stroll…put your music on or a podcast and get moving

- track your progress….what gets measured gets managed

Small changes, more movement = big impact

Give it a go and I guarantee you will notice the difference in your physical and mental health

In May it’s time for all TCF clients to track their progress

Now this isn’t just tracking weight….that would be pointless as soooo many factors can effect how much you weigh when you step on the scales

With all my clients we track;

- Body composition
- Flexibility
- Core stability
- Muscular strength
- Muscular endurance
- Stamina

By doing some relatively straight forward tests I can see areas of strength and areas that require some improvement

By doing this I am able to discuss with clients the plan and goals for the next 8 weeks

It’s important to monitor your progress if you are on a fitness journey

AND do you know what is equally important?

Being held accountable

That’s where I can really help and make a difference. By knowing we are going to do regular tests and with the interactions I have with clients I am able to keep them focused and on track

Becoming fitter and healthier can be over complicated by many things you might see or read on social media

This can feel overwhelming and frustrating as knowing what to actually start with

Just a reminder

We don’t need perfect.
We don’t need complicated.

We just need a little more than last week.

→ A few extra steps each day
→ An extra hour (or even 30 mins) of sleep
→ One more whole, unprocessed meal

Stack those small wins week after week and watch what happens.
