Yesterday saw the travelling Storm Squad play in 2 tight games, splitting the double header with Liverpool Trojans. The first game Storm achieved a 5-3 win but in the second, they came up short at seeing a 7-4 loss. Super proud of the guys!

Looking to the weekend, we will be hosting our first home game of the season against Sheffield Bruins. With them taking 2 wins yesterday it’s set to be some good games! Feel free to come down and watch and support the team!

Tomorrow sees the first games of the season for the club as Storm travel away to Liverpool Trojans in their NBL debut! Storm will be looking to start the season off on winning ways, wishing luck to the travelling squad!

In 2026 Long Eaton Chasers will be playing against a whole new division of teams from across the North as they take part in the Division 5 development league.

With 15 game weekends throughout summer there is plenty of game opportunities for new players and returning players to hone their skills and learn the game!

2026 Season Update

The 2026 season sees many changes and big steps forward for Long Eaton Baseball!

Storm return to the BBF in the newly expanded NBL North, competing against Leicester Blue Sox, Liverpool Trojans, Sheffield Bruins and Manchester A’s in what promises to be a very competitive division.

The Storm Chasers make their BBF debut against new competition in the Northern Division 5, facing Leeds Locos 2, Sheffield Bladerunners 3, Newark Nationals and Manchester D’s.

Lightning will be continuing their development with Women’s tournaments and friendlies throughout the summer.

Finally, we’re incredibly proud to launch Long Eaton’s very first Youth Programme — Storm Youth! This marks a huge milestone for the club as we look to grow baseball locally and create a foundation for future Storm players!
