OUR MEMBER OF THE MONTH! TAKE A BOW STEVE!!
Here’s what our coaches had to say:
Oh dearest Steven. The man with absolutely no ego who, should he want to, could rip your face off and you’d end up thanking him for it.
Often just quietly getting on with it, lending a hand, lending out his kit (including the shoes on his feet) and happily making the new members feel welcome, he’s an outstanding member beloved by all! Very well deserved, everyone needs more Steve in their lives! 🇮🇪
Steve is the definition of a gentle giant. Don’t let the rugby‑player exterior fool you — he’s one of the most welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable members you’ll ever meet. He quietly chips away at WODs and lifts, never making a fuss, yet somehow always putting seriously impressive numbers on the board. A steady presence, a supportive teammate, and an absolute asset to the community. A well‑deserved MoM.
Always a good session if Steve’s there. Friendly, focussed and you just know he’s made of steel underneath that affable exterior. Also crushing it atm.
So good with new members!!
Always introduces himself and is just lovely
Steve is a top bloke. Comes in cool as a cucumber and is a hilarious too. Love seeing him name on the list. Proper lovely.
Steve the epitome of everything you could want from a member. Friendly, knows when to push, and when to scale. Will encourage others to their best. Always 100%. And we continue to see the same work ethic and determination in the next generation from the girls in Kids classes as well. A fantastic and well deserved recognition!!
Steve is the example of the perfect member and that is why every coach loves having him in the class. He knows when to scale, when to dial it back but also when to push and take himself out of his comfort zone even though his demeanour won’t change. Steve will always be there to help new members and I can’t think of a better person for them to try to emulate. He also brings his daughters to the kids classes and it is clear that they have got his determination and work ethic. Great effort Steve
