We are incredibly fortunate to have such a talented and experienced team of marshals here in the UK, and even more fortunate to have them officiating at our Fight Nights at Armoured Martial Arts Nottingham.
Mary , UK Head Marshal, demonstrated exactly why experience matters. Her swift reaction to a fighter’s armour failure ensured the bout was stopped immediately, preventing what could have become a serious injury.
The vigilance, expertise, and dedication that marshals bring to fighter safety often go unnoticed, but moments like this highlight just how vital their role is within our sport.
