A big thank you to Erewash Indoor Bowling Club who hosted our Team England - Commonwealth Games Para Squad today for another Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Prep Session.

The morning was spent with Performance Coach Mal Evans, who lead specific coaching and training sessions before the squad put the skills into practice against members from host club, Erewash.

🌟 A day to remember at Erewash Indoor!

We had the absolute honour of hosting the Bowls England Para Commonwealth team today — a training session followed by a game under our roof. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish.

It was an absolute pleasure having you all with us. Inspiring stuff.

Now go bring home the gold in Scotland, July 2026! 🏆🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

And when you do… you know where we are. The gauntlet is well and truly down — we’d love a rematch! 😄🎯

🏆 Scottish Open Qualifier | Erewash Indoor Bowls Centre

What a fantastic day we had on Saturday hosting the Scottish Open Qualifier here at Erewash!

Wayne Wilgress summed it up perfectly:
