Yesterday, we taught our final private Reformer sessions at EVOLVE Tysoe 🥹
The end of a very special chapter for the little studio where EVOLVE began…
So I thought we’d take a trip down memory lane 🤍
And I couldn’t think of anyone better to join me on the cover than Laura - our EVOLVE OG and the very first client to walk through the door at Tysoe! 🫶🏼
Here’s where it all started →
In 2020, we moved into our dream family home in Tysoe 🤍
I was pregnant with Sofia, our second child, and our family was almost complete 🫶🏼
The house came with this rather dark and depressing garage… 😆
But I could already see past the breeze blocks and concrete floor. I knew exactly what I wanted it to become one day.
So, work began on transforming it into my dream Pilates space ✨
By 2021, the transformation was complete✨
But we’d just welcomed Sofia into the world, making us a family of four 🤍
With a newborn and a toddler, we had our hands full and launching a business simply wasn’t the right move!
So I pressed pause.
The vision never went away - I just needed to wait until the timing felt right.
After returning to my corporate career following maternity leave, I quickly realised it no longer aligned with the life I wanted for our family.
The lack of flexibility around family life became increasingly difficult and, after a period of severe anxiety and complete exhaustion, I hit rock bottom.
Something had to change.
That Pilates studio sitting quietly at home - and the dream I’d put on hold two years earlier - suddenly felt more important than ever.
So, I decided it was finally time.
Just three months later, I quit my 15 year corporate career to focus on EVOLVE full-time 😬
Walking away from the security of the career I’d spent my entire adult life building felt terrifying.
In hindsight? The best decision I ever made 🤍
And little Sofia, newly 2, wearing a “DO WHAT YOU LOVE” jumper in this photo feels rather fitting now 🫶🏼
What started with one reformer and a handful of clients grew largely through word of mouth, recommendations and the incredible support of our
