Hi folks,

The Churches League AGM has been organised for 7.30pm Tuesday 5th May at Lisneal College (room to be confirmed)

The Foyle Zone AGM will be held afterwards aiming to start around 8.15pm.

Anyone who is unavailable to attend that night but would be interested/willing to come on the zone committee to help out organising for next season can let Simon or Peter know and will be put forward at the meeting.

The Cup final took place tonight at Faughan with Gortnessy overcoming Cumber Upper 23-12 on the night.

Rink scores:
C Nutt 4 - J Austin 12
W Witherow 8 - S Donaghy 11

Had a great turnout of spectators coming to watch which was good to see. With both teams playing some great bowls and the match was played in a good sporting manner.

I would like to thank Faughan for the use of their hall and the tea after the game it was much appreciated.

That brings a close to another season and congratulations to Gortnessy on winning both the league and the cup.

Updated League Scores at the end of the season. Many congratulations to Gortnessy on winning the league and to Cumber Upper on coming second.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the clubs for sending in weekly score cards on time each week.

A date for an AGM will be arranged soon (hopefully in April at some stage). Date & Venue TBC.
