Susan is preparing to fulfil a long term dream to the climb the iconic Matterhorn. Climbing tuition designed a 4 day programme for her specifically focused on Matterhorn preparation, and, her specific development needs. We spent two days in the South of England - Swanage and Portland - practicing climbing routes in her mountaineering boots , abseiling and getting used to climbing equipment. Later on we spent two more days in Snowdonia, climbing big mountains routes , practicing moving together and building climbing endurance. Susan had a fantastic experience and feels ready to fulfil her dream. Matt , Will and Claudia did a two day sports climbing course in Portland with . From not having EVER climbed outdoors before, by the end of the second day they were leading and were self sufficient at Sports Climbing. They learned skills from clipping draws , threading top anchors to taking lead falls and belaying with different devices. They improved their movement and techniques on outdoor rock. They were absolutely buzzing when they did their first lead. runs bespoke courses teaching sports and trad climbing courses.
