New Credit System is here 🥳 We have been working behind the scenes while the studio has been closed to update our memberships and packs following some incredible feedback from you all 🫶

From September all new packs and memberships will have a number of credits attached to them. This means that you can use your credits for Reformer, Yoga and Mat classes without the need to buy additional packs.

Even better, if you are on a recurring membership your unused credits roll over as long as your membership is active which means none of your credits are wasted ☺️ You also get 20% off our in house workshops 😉

There is something magical about Yin Yoga 🧘‍♂️ Whether you are looking for a physical practice, a space to soften, time to go inwards. It has it all!

People often assume that Yin Yoga is beginners yoga. Try it and you will know that it is a challenging practice for the body and the mind 🙏

Sometimes you will be asked to find your edge, explore sensations and find stillness. You may also be encouraged to drop into a space of surrender and non attachment to the thoughts that arise, usually by cultivating a deep relationship to the breath which, in turn, helps to balance the nervous system.

The postures are held for minutes, not seconds, and mostly done seated and lying down. You will meet resistance both physically and emotionally and find a deeper connection to your self.

Reformer or Mat Pilates? 🤔 There are lots of conversations at the studio about Reformer especially with people who don’t enjoy Mat Pilates 🤣 Lots of you think that Reformer is a harder version of mat. Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t.

For me, they are very different. I love the support that the Reformer machine gives me and I find I can work with greater form and control 💪

Have you tried Reformer? Have you tried Mat Pilates? We would love to know what you think of either or both practices!

The Yoga Space was built with the hope that it would bring people together 🫂 I think we are doing that very well. We have seen LOTS of friendships develop as a result of coming here. Coffee dates, museum visits, booking classes together. It’s beautiful to watch 💜

A place not only to practice yoga, mat pilates and reformer, but to connect, meet people and feel part of a community right here in Woolwich. See you soon?!

What does a regular yoga practice mean to you? 💭 This answer is as unique as you are 🫶

We know how valuable movement is to our emotional and physical health. From mobility to strength, the release of endorphins, activation of the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system. BUT for me there is something very special about yoga. It feels like a complete practice. Mindful, physical and the integration of the practice in the form of Shavasana, a space to land and to connect to ourselves before we have to rush off 🧘‍♂️💜

What’s it all for? 🤔 If you know me well, you know that I never wanted to own a ‘business’ BUT I have, for as long as I can remember, wanted to own a yoga and wellness space 🧘‍♂️ Why? I know from experience and studying that one of the most important things we can do to support our physical and emotional health is through movement, breathing with awareness, community and connection. As a psychotherapist my passion has always been about holding space for people to find their own way back to themselves 🌿

My joy comes from teaching, conversations and connection. It does not come from sitting at my laptop, bookkeeping and admin ❌

This year my business, like so many other independent businesses, has been struggling. However through the beautiful, heart expanding and honest conversations I am privileged to be a part of, I know that this beautiful studio is doing exactly what it was built to do.

Here’s to the next ten years or more 💜
