About Us

With over forty years of coaching experience we at DB-eXcel have worked together to establish a unique football training programme that has a three-tier system. This will be used as a means of evaluating the abilities, skills and performance of the individual player or group of players. TIER ONE: The DB-eXcel Development Centre:

This is open to and cater for all players irrespective of

age, race, s*x or ability. Players that eXcel within our unique development centre grading program will access our DB-eXcel academy set up once they have acquired our prized DB-eXcel development centre black t-shirt. The DB-eXcel Development Centre is suited to players of all abilities with an enthusiastic attitude to learn. The centre runs termly and our aim is to facilitate a learning environment that enables children to play football and fall in love with the game. Players attending would have been identified as gifted and talented or with the potential to develop within our structured unique training program. Each player will be assessed on their progress throughout each term where they may be given the opportunity to grade. Using our unique and proven coaching methods we can guarantee all players will progress in a fairly short space of time, our ultimate aim is to mirror the same coaching hours as that of a professional football club academy using our aforementioned coaching methods. Our objective is to develop each individual player irrespective of age to a elite (academy) level. Then we can use our well built reputation and connections within the professional game to provide our DB-eXcel academy player/s the chance to showcase their talents in front of professional football clubs. TIER TWO: The DB-eXcel Academy:

On obtaining entry into our academy players will have the opportunity to access more of our unique training methods that will help prepare them for elite, academy football and our treasured "Gold" status. The DB-eXcel academy is best suited to players who have come through our development centre programme or have vast experience of training within a professional football club environment. Access to our academy can be through either completing our development centre programme that will fully prepare players for our unique type of training or in very exceptional circumstances straight from a professional football club academy. TIER THREE: "Gold" status: "Master our levels to eXcel"

This will only be accessible to players who has progressed through our DB-eXcel Academy. The challenge will be for the individual player to complete a number of very challenging tests/levels to acquire our treasured "Gold" status! We are highly confident in our ability to help each player to reach their full potential and therefore using our unique grading process will enable each player and their parent/s to see the progression on a weekly and termly basis.
