In 2010, Paul Le Croissette became homeless and was forced to live in the woods, with only a few personal possessions. Initially Paul began crafting small things to sell, so that he could make a little money and eat. He started with paracord bracelets and lanyards and quickly moved onto making catapults. Armed with a few basic tools, a small netbook and a USB dongle, Paul set up Forking Good Catap
ults. Since then, Paul’s has created some of the most unique and beautiful natural wood catapults and has gained worldwide recognition for his work. It didn't take long before Paul’s original designs began to influence the work of other makers. He has a very unique and personal style and has a great eye for strong and flexible natural wood. Paul’s experience with woodcraft really shows through in the quality of his catapults. Now Paul is expanding in an effort to home himself and expand his work even more ! Future Plans
Paul is still homeless and operates his business from a small garage belonging to a friend. His goal is to again find a home to live in and to have his own workshop where he can build and hone his skills even more. Paul knows that this will only come through hard work, loyal customers and support from the catapult and slingshot community.And now through his art work . He will continue to develop his range of catapults and build what many consider to be the best natural wood catapults available in the UK alongside his creative talents to turn anything into pretty much anything .
