🚨⚽One thing Xabi Alonso MUST do quickly at Chelsea is identify who is truly ready for the journey ahead… and who is simply a passenger.

Because talent alone is not enough anymore.

Alonso’s teams are built on:
✅ Intensity
✅ Discipline
✅ Tactical intelligence
✅ Mentality
✅ Hunger to improve constantly

If players are not fully committed to that level, they simply will not survive long-term in his system. 👏

Reports already suggest several players could be moved on this summer:
📌 Liam Delap
📌 Alejandro Garnacho
📌 Tosin Adarabioyo
📌 Benoît Badiashile
📌 Filip Jörgensen
📌 Axel Disasi

While:
📌 Mamadou Sarr

…could benefit from loan moves to continue developing with regular football. 👀

Then there is Wesley Fofana — probably one of the biggest question marks in the squad right now.

Nobody doubts his talent when fit:
⚡ Aggressive defender
⚡ Strong physically
⚡ Quick recovery pace
⚡ Comfortable on the ball

But Alonso reportedly values “mentality monsters” — players who stay reliable, focused and intense through difficult moments. And unfortunately, injuries and inconsistency have made it difficult for Fofana to fully show that this season. 👀
