Shaftesbury cater for athletes of all ages from 10 years upwards, competing in Track and Field Athletics, Cross-Country and Road Running. The club welcomes new members - Athletes, Officials (or prospective Officials), Coaches (or those who may be interested in taking up Coaching) or Supporters who are as important as the Athletes themselves. We are involved at all levels of Athletics within the Co

mmunity. As well as providing coaching for athletes from Novices to Olympic Standard, we provide teams to help out at the London Marathon, encourage schools to link in with us, arrange meetings at which International Athletes compete. Shaftesbury are a Community Club catering for all levels of athlete - all we ask for is regular attendance and a commitment to training. raining sessons are provided by United Kingdom Athletics qualified coaches at the following times:
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 6:15pm - 8:45pm (Stadium closes at 9pm)
Saturdays and Sundays: 10am - Noon: Selected groups by invitation only
Sundays: 11am Endurance Pack Run for both sexes
Regular training sessions are provided for Circuits and Weights at other times each week - full details from whichever coach an athlete has been allocated to.
