This gorgeous rug is my latest find at a little antique fair in Cascais. I love it too much to put it on the floor, so I’m scoping out a bedroom wall to hang it on. And in the meantime…I’ve hung it here in our hallway, so I can enjoy it as I go up & down the stairs 🙌🏻

The hallway is starting to come together in our rental home in Cascais 🙌🏻 I often think hallways can be a challenging one…they have to work very hard to make sure they’ve got everything you need nice & handy, but they also need to look welcoming ⚖️

I felt very lucky to be able to visit this place on a girls trip this weekend ❤️ The terrazzo tiling technique & how beautifully vibrant the colours were & all the curves. The tables, the crockery & of course all in this settling. A triumph in my books & absolutely inspiring.

I’ve never made a skirt for myself, or my daughter. But I made one for my sink 😊

We have a classic rental-property challenge in this bathroom in our basement. There was an open shelf below the sink, showing lots of pipework & also a questionable finish on the walls 🤪 So I decided to make a little vanity skirt to solve problem one & distract from problem 2.

I’m not going to lie…I’m really very proud of this one and excited to get shopping for other items to finish off the room. Think hanging plants & ochre bathroom accessories 🙌🏻
