Some mornings really don’t go to plan.

Road closed.
Over 4km walked.
Torrential rain.
Multiple puddle splashes from passing cars.
One very defeated raincoat.
Two completely soaked trainers.

By the time we got to school, we were drenched from head to toe.

But somewhere between the flooded roads, soggy socks, and trying to dodge puddles, my son and I ended up laughing our heads off.

Life isn’t always about perfect conditions.

Sometimes it’s messy.
Sometimes it’s uncomfortable.
Sometimes you’re completely soaked through.

But you keep going anyway.

Today’s reminder: not every step forward looks pretty, but it still counts.
Now excuse me while I try to dry out. 😅🌧️

This is probably the most personal video I’ve shared on this page.

Core n Kettle wasn’t created because I had everything figured out. It was created during a time when I was rebuilding myself.

After having my second child, I lost a little of who I was. Like so many mums, I was busy taking care of everyone else while putting myself at the bottom of the list.

So I made a decision to start showing up for me again.

One home workout at a time.
One walk at a time.
One small step at a time.

Over the years I’ve rebuilt my strength, confidence, and mindset, and Core n Kettle was born from that journey.

Everything I create comes from a place of wanting to help other women who may be feeling lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves.

I want every woman to know that putting yourself first sometimes isn’t selfish. Looking after your health, confidence, and wellbeing matters.

Thank you for being here and supporting this journey.

This is just the beginning of the next chapter. 🤍

Core n Kettle was built during a season where I was rebuilding myself mentally and physically.
These small reminders became part of how I kept showing up.

That’s why I started creating empowerment cards and mindset tools for women learning to find their confidence again.

I turned parts of that journey into digital guides to support other women rebuilding their confidence too.

Not every work out will feel powerful, yesterday my day was non stop I hadn’t yet squeezed my gym session in and I felt terrible. Instead of jus letting the day go and me not do a session I pushed through I managed a 20 min session consisting of skipping, sit ups with a medicine ball, Russian twist followed by planking. I felt better after doing it and I managed to squeeze it in pockets of time but this is how life is sometimes. When your busy with life or if your a mum and your juggling life in between you still need to push through and show up for YOU!
