Rei Kawamata is coming back to Sen after the World Climbing Series in Innsbruck!
We’re excited to welcome Rei back to the gym!

This time, he’ll be setting on both our new spray wall and our regular walls. The set he did with Sohta last March was a huge hit, and we’re excited to see what he comes up with this time.

Rei is currently ranked 9th in the World Climbing Series and has been consistently advancing to the semi-finals this season, often qualifying in strong positions throughout the rounds. He hasn’t reached a final yet this year, but we’re hoping to see him break through in Innsbruck and fight for a podium finish!

17 June – Men’s Qualification
19 June – Men’s Semi-Final & Final

Let’s cheer him on together at Sen as he competes in the final European round of the season!

When he’s back at Sen, you’ll have the chance to meet him, chat with him, and maybe even grab a photo.

The next set will begin soon and the first thing going up is a new spray wall on the 50°.

On Sun 21 evening, we will strip the 50° and a few blocs from other walls (to use the holds for the spray). On Mon 22 and Tues 23, only while the spray wall is being set, the TB2 will be closed.

We will be resetting the gym in sections and the gym will remain open throughout the reset. We will open each wall as soon as we can and would be grateful for your patience and understanding.

On Thurs 25 Jun, due to the disruption, we shall be discounting day entries:
Adult day entry: £13.50
Concession day entry: £11.50
(Members gets a free hot drink)

We can’t wait to have the spray wall back!

Tickets for the Send Cha Tea Party on Sat 20 Jun are still available.
Join us for an evening of tea and climbing. It will be one of your last chances on the set.

SAVE THE DATE !
15 August 2026!!

Something BIG is coming to Sen this summer.

Three special guests from Japan.

We’re still deciding the format, but expect something along the lines of:

Team A vs Team B

Each team captained by one of our special guests.
Choose your team. Climb alongside your team captain. Your sends will count in the fight for team glory.

At the end of the day, the team captains will go head-to-head in a final showdown, with selected climbers from each team also battling it out to decide the ultimate winners.

Team glory isn’t the only thing at stake — individual awards will also be up for grabs.

A full day of climbing, competition, challenges, and beer (?).

This might be our best event yet!

More details, guest announcements, and the final format will be revealed soon.
