🎓💜 TOPCATS ALUMNI — ANAYA JOWERS! 💜🎓

Another one of our girls doing BIG things! 🐾🔥

A massive congratulations to Brixton Topcats alumni Anaya Jowers, who has officially graduated from Loughborough University with a 2:1 in BSc Geography! 🎓👏🏾

And, of course, basketball remained part of the journey. 🏀 Anaya represented the university’s Women’s 3rd Team and stepped into leadership as Co-Captain in her final year.

We’ve watched Anaya grow from a young Topcat into an intelligent, confident and accomplished young woman, and we couldn’t be prouder. This is exactly what we mean when we say it’s bigger than basketball.

The court is part of the journey, but the goal has always been to see our young people grow, lead, achieve and create futures for themselves beyond it.

To all of our Brixton Topcats family and all young people collecting results today — we’re wishing you nothing but the very best! 🖤🧡

We know the hard work, early mornings, late nights, training sessions, games, studying and sacrifices that go into balancing education and basketball.

Whatever is written on that piece of paper today, remember: your results are part of your journey — they do not define your future.

Celebrate your wins. Learn from every experience. Keep believing in yourself and keep moving forward. 💪🏾

And to our Topcats moving on to college, sixth form, university, apprenticeships or whatever comes next — we can’t wait to see where your journey takes you.

What a journey. ❤️🏀

We are incredibly proud of Rebecca and everything she has achieved during her time with us. Watching her grow, develop and continue to push herself both on and off the court has been a privilege.

She has worked hard, represented the club with pride and has become a fantastic young woman and basketball player. Now she takes the next big step in her journey, committing to the University of Brighton. 🎓🏀

Rebecca, you will be massively missed — your presence, your personality and everything you brought to the team — but we couldn’t be prouder to see you moving forward and creating new opportunities for yourself.

On Saturday 18 July, the One European Finals will bring together the top U18 1v1 players from across Europe, all battling for a place at the Global Finals in Shanghai. 🌍

Expect high-level competition, a special appearance from an NBA superstar, live music, exclusive Jordan experiences, giveaways, incredible food, and your chance to test the new Jordan Triangle Shoe with Foot Locker.

These young student athletes stepped in front of the camera, found their voices, and grew more confident with every interview, every game, and every opportunity to share their basketball stories.

At Brixton Topcats, we’re proud to develop more than just basketball players. We help young people build confidence, communication skills, resilience, and leadership that will stay with them long after the final whistle.

What happens here goes far beyond the court. It’s about empowering the next generation to believe in themselves, speak with confidence, and thrive in every part of life.
