Wake at au ball‼️😻😭
Good thing we have these photos, otherwise i’d have no clue what actually went down… who knew that chugging wine for 3 hrs straight would lead to tears, missing cameras, red wine spills and A&E trips? 💀

Somehow Wake didn’t win ‘Most Improved Sportsclub’ (corruption at the highest levels), but let’s be real - we all know Wake has the best vibes and the most aura anyway…😮‍💨🤘

The girlies ATE, the boys looked vaguely respectable (even with their clip-on bowties), and from what i hear, Wake absolutely tore UP the club. 😱 Wish i could confirm… but unfortunately, i was too busy losing a fight against my own terrible decisions ❤️

CAROL 2024: A DAY TO REMEMBER 🧽🐠🙏🏼
At 7am, it all began - sausages frying, drinks in hand,
Mr Secretary in a towel appeared, and the madness started (as we all feared) 🕰️

Costumes tweaked, the chaos grew,
A dance-off followed (interpretive, too!)
From pub to club, we made our way,
Drinking to keep the cold at bay 🥶

Shakey’s snacks? A tactical stop,
Scala’s dance floor? We couldn’t be topped!

By 5 Guys, the energy lagged,
But did we quit? Don’t me me laugh..😎

Onward to o2, karaoke as well
(apologies to anyone who heard us that day) 😭

Carol tested our friendship and might,
But we survived the wildest day in sight

Mission complete? We passed the test
Chaos and fun? At their best
Drinks consumed? Don’t even ask

WAKE TAKES SKATE 😱
This week our talented members swapped waves for ice… because wakeboarding might be seasonal, but the spirit is eternal!! 🤟🏼🤟🏼
(Whilst the the average level of skill was truly above and beyond, pls don’t ask for a skill distribution graph 💀)
This activity truly displayed our dedication to water— frozen or not—it’s no match for our commitment to slipping, gliding, and occasionally faceplanting🌞
The day then wrapped up in a classy adults-only bar, where our group of serious, sensible and wise intellectuals pondered deeply about more ambitious activities to undertake! 💖

If you didn’t manage to get a slot, fear not, if you become a member we give your first session free! 😱(Not to mention that even if you only came once it’s cheaper than going as a member of the public so why not try it out!). All of our committee started as complete beginners and all coaching is included so even if you’ve just heard about wakeboarding come along.
