Congratulations to Renato Giust and Andrey Andreev on achieving their Black Belts this Tuesday evening.
This is a milestone that represents years of commitment, resilience and perseverance.
For well over a decade, Renato and Andrey have dedicated themselves to their Krav Maga journey. Renato has been one of my earliest students, while Andrey has spent more than eight years training with unwavering commitment. Both have invested countless hours on the mats, consistently showing up, embracing challenges and earning every step of this achievement.
Their journey has not always been easy. Along the way they have overcome injuries, setbacks, disappointments and difficult gradings, but they never stopped moving forward.
That resilience is one of the reasons I am so proud of them today.
They are genuinely great people to have in the club. Humble, respectful, committed and always a pleasure to train with. They have become wonderful examples to their families and have earned the respect of everyone who has shared the mats with them.
I couldn't be prouder of what you have both achieved. It has been a privilege to watch you grow over the years and to be part of your journey.
Enjoy this moment. You have earned every bit of it.
A black belt is not the finish line. It is the beginning of a new chapter, bringing greater responsibility, higher expectations and endless opportunities to continue learning.
At KMUR, we are only raising the bar, and I have no doubt that both of you will continue to grow, develop and help raise the standard for everyone around you.
