Our athletes took part in London BDA with pride and determination, bringing home 2 Silver Medals in 2 categories while competing against some of the sport's elite athletes.

Our hard work, dedication, and fighting spirit have made everyone proud. Congratulations on an incredible performance and a fantastic result! 💙👏

We are incredibly proud to see our athletes representing Great Britain on the European stage at the European Dragon Boat Championships in Munich. Wearing the GB colours is a tremendous honour and a reflection of the hard work, dedication and commitment shown through every training session, every challenge and every stroke
A huge congratulations to our Chadwell Heath Dragons athletes selected to represent Team GB:

💪 Shah (Roks) Kamali – The powerhouse of the crew, bringing strength, determination and relentless drive to every race.

🌊 Afzal Hussain – Calm, composed and dependable under pressure, showing true leadership when it matters most.

⚡ Sanwar Miah – The driving force of the team, keeping the crew focused, motivated and united every stroke of the way.

🔥 We are also incredibly proud of our two young Dragons representing the Team GB U18 squad:

🐉 Mahdi Hasib – A rising talent embracing the challenge and proudly representing the next generation of Dragons on the international stage.

🥇🥇🥈 Another unforgettable day for Chadwell Heath Dragons! 🐉🔥

We took on the Milton Keynes BDA regatta ready to give it our all—and what a performance it was from start to finish!

🏆 Results:
🥇 Open 200m – 1st
🥇 Open 470m – 1st
🥈 S12 Men’s 200m – 2nd (0.2 seconds off 1st!)

Bringing home two 1st and a 2nd is a true reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment from everyone involved—our paddlers, coaches, volunteers, and supporters. Every early morning, every training session, and every stroke is paying off 💪

A special shoutout to our junior paddlers, who showed incredible confidence and determination on the water, earning medals and making us all proud 🌟👏 Seeing the next generation step up like this is inspiring—the future of the club is brighter than ever!

Huge thanks to the organisers, officials, volunteers, and all the competing clubs for making it such a fantastic day of racing. It’s always a pleasure sharing the water with such great crews.

We’re proud to see Chadwell Heath Dragons continuing to grow, inspire, and achieve at every level—from our juniors to our senior squads.

Chadwell Heath Dragons – Making History 🐉

Chadwell Heath Dragons have etched their name into history at the London Macau Dragon Boat Festival 2026, qualify for and travel to Macau, China 🇨🇳

In a highly competitive field featuring top London crews like Raging Dragons Dragonboat UK, Typhoon Dragon Boat Club and , the team delivered an outstanding performance—coming out on top against elite opposition on their own home waters at the London Regatta Centre.

With the squad unity, determination, and strength of Chadwell Heath Dragons proved unstoppable.

This incredible victory now earns the team an all-expenses-paid trip to Macau, where they will represent the club—and their community—on the global stage against some of the best dragon boat teams in the world.

History made. Barriers broken. The journey continues.
