We have cooked and freeze dried in our home all our own food for our 3,000 mile row across the Atlantic this December 🍲

People always ask us what we will eat for 50+ days. Here is a snippet of how we make our meals, we have made over 300 meals. This is one of our favourites, our take on a carbonara.

For the carbonara lovers out there you will say this is not one, yes it has no egg in it, we tried and it split and didn’t make a thick sauce so we opted for a thick white sauce with LOADS of Parmesan cheese 🧀

Mandatory training hours ✅

We have now completed 130hrs of on water training, the minimum a team must do is 120hrs. We are now sorting the final few bits of kit, snack packs and preparing for the Southampton International Boat Show and shipping to the World’s Toughest Row start line in La Gomera ⛴️

That’s a wrap for Cowes Week 2026 bicentenary year ⛵️

A big thank you to the Cowes Week team for allowing us to have Pacemaker on display on the Parade.

Ethan and I were lucky to speak to hundreds of people over the week. It was lovely to see the interest in Pacemaker and our 3,000 mile row. We were blown away with the generosity of so many and we have managed to raise a significant amount of money for our chosen charities 💙

So many things to hit on our night rows on the coast! Thankfully we have the epic 9050 mega torch from that is fully waterproof with a beam distance of 489m! It was a huge help in training to make sure we kept Pacemaker in one piece! 🔦
