A throwback photo from my 1st international fight at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014. My fight made history as it was the 1st female 60kg bout to box in the history of a Commonwealth Games & I was the 1st female 60kg boxer to win a fight at a Commonwealth Games. Women were previously not allowed to box.

I’m Incredibly excited to share news I’ve recently become a Shackleton Leader (yes - part of the legacy of the iconic Ernest Shackleton - the legendary Antarctic explorer whose leadership and resilience saved his crew against overwhelming odds during some of the most extreme expeditions in history.)

The funding received will go towards a year’s boxing & positive psychology programmes for women & girls under 25 in Tower Hamlets. The aim is to directly support young women from disadvantaged communities to build lasting resilience and improve mental health.

Thank you The Shackleton Foundation 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

The team loved being part of again! 💜 It’s always inspiring to support a brilliant organisation helping girls break stereotypes and explore every opportunity. This year’s festival at The Business Design Centre was the biggest yet — full of amazing workshops and stands in sport, tech, engineering, the body and periods, and beyond!

Two inspiring days in Bristol, hearing powerful stories of resilience and transformation. Their commitment to using boxing to create positive change in communities — and their generosity in sharing their approach with others — is something special. 🥊

Festival of The Girl, aimed at primary school aged girls and their families (including brothers), is taking place on Sat 18th and Sun 19th October in Islington.

Being a girl today still comes with so many unspoken pressures, and we want to flip that narrative to show them that their voice matters, their passions are valid, and their future is limitless.

At the festival girls will have the opportunity to try different activities ranging from engineering to gaming, sports to aviation, experiments to activism, production to sustainability, politics to friendships, banking to farming and much more. With a SEND session (Saturday morning) and pay-what-you-can option we don’t want anyone to miss out.
