The summer solstice is the longest day of the year. The point of greatest expansion, before we begin to turn inward again.
It's worth pausing for that.

Aki Omori is a somatic movement therapist, trauma therapist and yoga teacher with over 25 years of experience. She works at the edges of yoga, integrating it with a somatic perspective, and focuses on the health of the whole person: body, mind and spirit.

This afternoon workshop uses somatic practices and restorative yoga to help you create space within. Not as an abstract idea, but as something you can actually feel and carry with you. When we have more space inside, we can hold more of life: the joys, and the difficult moments too.

Movement, breath, embodiment, exploration. Come as you are.
Open to all. Trauma informed.

'Change happens through movement and movement heals' -Joseph Pilates

Joseph Pilates developed his method during and after the First World War to rehabilitate injured bodies. Resistance, breath and precise movement to restore what had been lost.

A century later the science supports all of it. Core strength. Muscular endurance. Flexibility. Posture. Cardiovascular health. Bone density. Injury rehabilitation. Pain reduction. Pelvic floor function.

It works for people of all ages and all starting points. That has always been the point and at HOME this is what we teach.

Balance, coordination, bone density, metabolic health, the ability to stay active as you age. All of it is connected to how strong you are. Most people know strength training matters. Far fewer know how to actually build it in a way that's structured, sustainable and right for their body.

Phil Bishop has been teaching Pilates and movement for over 20 years. This workshop is practical and hands-on, using hand weights, resistance bands, sliders and bodyweight exercises to give you a real understanding of how resistance training works and how to apply it over time.

Whether you're just starting out or want to add more structure to what you're already doing, this is worth your Saturday afternoon.

There are still a few spots left for ‘s workshop

Roland has practised as a Maya healer for 30 years in both Mexico and the UK. He trained in the highlands of Chiapas and has spent three decades bridging Mayan and Tibetan healing traditions. Very few people in this country teach this work at this level.

The session covers chakra cleansing, free movement, breathwork, shamanic healing and meditation. Individual egg readings and cleansings are offered at the end to help clarify your elemental constitution and pathways for healing.

Open to all!

Why is balance so hard to find, on the mat and off it? Often, it's the mind.

Vinyasa Krama is the most widely practised yoga in the world today. But few people have gone as deep into its foundations as , who has been teaching it for over 25 years, holds a Masters in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation from SOAS, and is currently a PhD candidate in yoga research.

This is the third in his series at HOME exploring the basic elements of Vinyasa Krama. Each session covers the practical aspects of ashtanga: asana, pranayama, meditation and mantra. Part III focuses on balance poses, and what it actually takes to find steadiness when the mind won't cooperate.

Whether you've done Parts I and II or this is your first with Stewart, come ready to go deeper.

What Mat Pilates actually is.

Most people assume it's the easier version. It isn't.

Mat Pilates uses your own bodyweight as resistance to strengthen the legs, arms and core, improve posture and build the kind of control that carries into everything you do outside the studio.

At HOME, our Mat classes run across a range of levels. From Mobility Mat, which is gentle and well-suited to anyone recovering from injury, through to Sculpt, a full-body challenge that will genuinely work you.

All you need is yourself and a mat. We have those if you need one.

Swipe to find the right class for where you are right now.

2 weeks unlimited mat classes for 54 pounds. New visitors only.

Why do arm balances feel impossible? Usually it's not strength. It's understanding.
Natasha 'Coco' Lee spent 20 years as a professional dancer and choreographer before going deep into yoga. She brings that same physicality and precision to how she teaches, and makes poses that feel out of reach suddenly feel possible.

This workshop gives you the time and space that a regular class can't. You'll explore some of the most popular arm balances and inversions in depth: how to get into them, how to feel safe in them, and how to understand what your body is actually doing. Hands-on assists, partner work, blocks, bolsters, walls. Playful and practical in equal measure.

Open to all levels, including teachers and teacher trainees.
