🔴 ARSENAL'S NEXT 9 — MY SCORE PREDICTIONS
1️⃣ Aston Villa 1–3 Arsenal
Villa are already coming into this one badly after losing 4–0 to Brighton, with all four goals coming in the first half. Arsenal, meanwhile, opened their title defence with a convincing 3–0 win over Coventry.
Arsenal's biggest advantage here is control. Villa will have home support, but if Arsenal score first, they can force Villa to open up — and that is where Arsenal's quality in transition and final-third combinations can punish them.
Prediction: Aston Villa 1–3 Arsenal.
2️⃣ Arsenal 3–1 Chelsea
This is obviously the hardest one on the list. Chelsea started strongly with a win over Fulham, while Arsenal are facing them at the Emirates.
But Arsenal have already shown this season that they can dominate matches from the start. At home, with the crowd behind them, I expect Arsenal to create enough chances to win this — although Chelsea's attacking quality makes a clean sheet less convincing.
Prediction: Arsenal 3–1 Chelsea.
3️⃣ Sunderland 0–3 Arsenal
This is where Arsenal's defensive strength becomes important.
Arsenal kept 19 clean sheets in the previous league campaign and conceded only 27 goals, so there's a strong foundation for predicting another clean-sheet win against a newly promoted side.
Sunderland may make it difficult initially, but Arsenal's ability to keep possession and repeatedly attack the final third should eventually tell.
Prediction: Sunderland 0–3 Arsenal.
4️⃣ Brighton 1–2 Arsenal
This is one of the fixtures where I'm being more cautious.
Brighton have already shown their attacking threat by putting four past Aston Villa, so expecting Arsenal to simply walk through them would be disrespectful.
But Arsenal's defensive organisation gives them the edge. I can see Brighton causing problems, but Arsenal having enough quality to score twice and take the three points.
Prediction: Brighton 1–2 Arsenal.
5️⃣ Arsenal 4–2 Leeds
This is my goals game. 😂
Arsenal at home against a newly promoted Leeds side gives me the feeling that this could become an open game if Arsenal score early.
Leeds will have to attack at some point, and that could leave spaces for Arsenal's forwards and attacking midfielders. I can see Arsenal creating chance after chance here.
Prediction: Arsenal 4–2 Leeds.
6️⃣ Nottingham Forest 0–2 Arsenal
This one feels more controlled.
Forest at home can make life uncomfortable, but Arsenal don't necessarily need to turn every match into a five-goal thriller. Their defensive structure should allow them to manage the game once they get ahead.
Prediction: Nottingham Forest 0–2 Arsenal.
7️⃣ Arsenal 2–1 Everton
Everton are the type of side that can frustrate Arsenal.
They can sit deep, make the game physical and try to limit Arsenal's space. That's why I'm not going for another huge scoreline.
But at the Emirates, Arsenal should eventually find the breakthrough.
Prediction: Arsenal 2–1 Everton.
8️⃣ Liverpool 1–2 Arsenal
Now this is the real test. 👀
Anfield is never an easy place to go, and Liverpool already showed their attacking threat by drawing 2–2 with Newcastle in their opening game.
But Arsenal don't need to dominate every minute to win this. If they defend well and take their big chances, I can see them doing what they need to do and leaving with three points.
Prediction: Liverpool 1–2 Arsenal.
9️⃣ Arsenal 4–0 Hull
And finally… welcome to the Emirates, Hull. 😂
Hull have just been promoted, and Arsenal's home advantage plus the difference in squad quality makes this one of the clearest predictions on the graphic.
If Arsenal score early, this could get ugly very quickly.
Prediction: Arsenal 4–0 Hull
Looking at Arsenal's current form, defensive strength, squad quality and the fixtures ahead, these are the scorelines I'm going with.
