Ringcraft training club at Freehold community centre , led by Stephen Adams, who has been involved with dog showing for fifteen years and has been stewarding for that time The majority of these acheived this after only a short time with us and no prior experience. Well done to them. In 2013, the exercise was repeated which is no surprise as this has been a regular occurrence since the club began i
ts existence almost 30 years ago. In addition, the owner of the club, Audrey, has qualified her own Great Dane dogs every year since she started showing them. Please drop in any Tuesday evening, with your canine companion, to meet the organisers, our members with their dogs and feel free to join in the activities...

The club is open every Tuesday evening between 8pm and 10pm, and welcomes all breeds of dog, pedigree and cross breed. We meet in a large hall so there is plenty of room for everybody. The North London Ringcraft Club (NLRC) was formed almost 30 years ago by Mr. Terry Murphy,a dog show judge. On his retirement in 2010 the present Owners/ Trainers, Audrey Adams and David Lister, following many years working with him are carrying on the NLRC tradition of first class training. It was decided that because of the many successes of N.L.R.C. members, over the years and to avoid confusion, the e-mail address remains the same, [email protected]. Audrey and David have, for the past 19 years, shown Audrey's Great Danes with much success at Open and Championship Shows including wins at Crufts, for which they have qualified, for attendance, at least one of her dogs, every year since their first year in the dog show world. Over the years many of our members, have, from knowing nothing about dog showing, become extremely good handlers with many successes in the show ring. We feel that the clubs motto, Pret a Partir is very apt as it means, Ready to Go. It is a fact that, all show dog handlers, past and present, started in the same way with little or no knowledge. All dogs, Pedigree and Crossbreed are welcome at our club as we feel that all dogs can benefit from the socialisation and training. Although Crossbreed dogs are not accepted for entry at the Open and Championship Shows, there are a number of Companion Shows every year with classes for non - pedigree dogs. These can provide a fun day out for families and their dogs and don't forget, your Crossbreed dog can, with training, perform as well as the present pedigree show dogs.
