this post is a bit deeper than my usual content… I guess we’re all just human at the end of the day… but I had a mini meltdown the other day (& today & every day at the moment) and spoke to a few people about it as I genuinely thought it was just me
don’t get me wrong, I LOVE being the golf girl and working in golf (like LOVE LOVE LOVE), I LOVE working in other sports too and chatting to pro athletes (being a social media presenter is SO FUN), and I LOVE working in fashion (I mean DREAM right?!)
but I just get this overwhelming feeling of not being “good enough” to do what I do, or having “done enough” this past year, or like I haven’t reached my own expectations for 2025… (maybe social media is to blame?!)
I thought there was something wrong with me for always thinking this way, but actually, I think it just means we care. It means we want to do well, be the best version of ourselves, make everyone in our world happy, and that’s a good thing - a great thing in fact!!!
I don’t think our brains are very good at remembering everything we’ve achieved in 365 days. That’s why there’s nothing better than taking a scroll through your camera roll to make you realise you’ve done so much more than you give yourself credit for
& it doesn’t always have to be work related either. It could be personal, family, health, growth, peace - anything!
a year ago, being where I am today would only be a dream!! I’m working on some passion projects for 2026 and my heart’s starting to feel full again - thats also how I know I’m on the right path
so if you’re feeling like me as the year ends, I honestly recommend taking a look through your camera roll to realise just how much you’ve actually done!!!
& if you’re heading into 2026 feeling a bit uncertain, that’s okay too…. change is a good thing!! remember what they say “sometimes things need to fall apart… so better things can fall into place”
and honestly, whenever you feel like you’re “not good enough” just remember that you are!!! you’re good enough exactly how you are today
so anyway, here’s me taking my moment to share a few of the highlights of a year I thought “wasn’t good enough” until my camera roll proved me wrong… 🤍
