It’s been a year since my month-long trip to Spain, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan 🥹 This was my last proper exploring trip before I decided it was probably time to focus on working as much as I could to buy a house (in one of the most expensive locations in Europe too 😭)

A year later, while I do miss to travel, I am so happy to have made this choice! I have progressed so much on my own training by not going constantly away, I have seen so much progress since I was able to accept more clients and fully dedicate myself to fitness and sport science, I have done so much research and have grown so much as a professional since I’ve worked with some incredible and very challenging cases, and above all, I am super close to achieve what I decided to do just a year ago.

I am so very grateful for this year, that I don’t think I need to wait until the 31st of December to say so 😂 looking back at these memories of Luisina Giambelluca pre-twins, Davide’s blueberry muffins, my proper first trip with David Soffer and the longest solo trip I’ve ever done in my life, I can’t wait but feel nostalgic of 2025.

May 2026 continue to be amazing, and may 2027 bring some travel and exploring back into my life ✨✨

We are back to weekly roundups!! And we are now officially over a year late 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ But I am still going to keep you guys updated through stories, so make sure to check those to see what’s happening at the moment.

On that note, I’ve been extremely busy this year as I am trying to find my “forever home” and things have finally calm down so I should be able to post a little more frequently again 🙏

Can’t wait to eventually catch up on 2026 weekly roundups 🤣

Another throwback to July last year! (I feel like 2026 is almost catching up with my throwbacks because I am so slow 🥲)

About a year ago a client messaged me this. Motivation comes and goes for all of us, but sometimes we tend to think only us truly struggle with it - we go to the gym, look around and see people that go day after day without missing a single workout and it makes us wonder “what the heck is motivating them to keep going?” and “where do I find this motivation?”. The truth is, YOU DON’T. People that get results, get results because they train on the days they’re motivated, but also on the days they’re not. It’s the consistency that matters, and consistency doesn’t care about motivation.

Of course personality, specific health conditions, neurodiversity, mental health, priorities, past experiences and many other factors will help someone being more disciplined, or on the contrary, struggle with sticking to a routine, but at the end of the day, “motivation” is (sadly) something we can’t magically find.

So here are my tips on how to stay consistent and try to find the motivation within you. It’s a long reply and with a fair share of grammatical errors, but I hope it can help you if you’re going through the same 😘

Going back to throwbacks as it has been a while 😬😬 This was July 2025 - can’t believe it’s been almost a year!

The last few weeks have been intense in terms of work so haven’t had the time to continue our throwbacks to June 2025 😬🙈

But here we are! Will do my best to run through these quickly so we can catch up on them 😉

I can’t believe we’re back to posting these, but we are!! I have finally managed to have a bit more time to compile everyone’s progress, so instead of continuing from now onwards, I’ve decided to catch up on where we left off last time, and try to slowly progress till we get to current date.

I hope you guys enjoy these throwbacks, which have been amazing at reminding me how far everyone (including myself) have come in just under a year!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

I created this account years ago mostly for fun, as I enjoyed having a collection of my favourite meals and exercises.

Looking back in time, this is how it went: I started teaching back in Feb 2014, graduated later that year just to struggle finding a job in my home country, despite delivering over 30 CVs in more than 6 cities. In order to get my first job, I worked for free for 3 months (4 if we consider that we had to purchase a microphone that was worth our monthly salary). We were forced to do unpaid work in a toxic environment where we were bullied in front of colleagues and club members for drinking, eating chocolate, not being fit enough, or experienced enough. After 10 months, I had enough and decided to move out of Portugal in September 2015. Little did I know, my Sports Science Bachelor's Degree was not recognised in the UK so I was forced to spend another year taking UK's qualifications.
Fast forward to 2016 and I started working for my first club in the country. Created my own website in 2017, worked for the largest luxury health club in Europe, got my own studio in 2018, lost all my group classes in 2020, lost the studio in 2021, moved to a club that closed down 6 months later, relocated to my second studio in 2022, just to lose it at the end of 2023.

It's been... A hell of a ride. And I don't post here very often as I feel overwhelmed with the amount of work I have on my other account () and as I dedicate all of my time in the industry offline: creating effective workouts, doing research on the new literature, checking client's diets and exercise performance, teaching classes and focusing on my own training.

All of this to say, that with so much hard work but very little online presence, I would never imagine that I would be one day being selected as one of the first top businesses in the neighbourhood and I am truly thankful for everyone who voted and grateful to know that I have become one of the top local PTs and have had the opportunity to know so many of you in the neighbourhood.

Thank you to all of my past and current clients, for all of the reviews, incredible transformations and votes for this year. You guys rock ⭐
