Pacific cricket club was established in 1983 as a works team from Pacific Records, a music distribution company. One or two of those players who started the team are still around now. At the time the company's football team, which played fixtures against other records companies ie. Stiff, Island, WEA, Rough Trade, record shops such as Virgin, HMV, Our Price and even games against artistes teams su

ch as Spandau Ballet, Bow Wow Wow & Jah Wobble. Recruiting a skipper in the shape of Nigel Wilkinson, co-owner of the nearby H***y Tonk Records shop, and local students and any one else from the Tufnell Park Tavern who was free, Pacific Cricket was born...
