Yoga is Sanskrit work meaning ‘unite’ and the unification of mind and the body to be precise.
No exercise routine can be executed successfully without conscious, deliberate and controlled movement. If you ever observe top athletes train- see how well they’re able to control their bodies and as much as they might not all be going to Yoga classes, they connect their mind and bodies daily through their exercise. The flawless movement is a result of it. So before trying to lift heavy weights, swinging kettlebells or even running, be sure that you can control basic movements in slow motion first. Once you’ve built that mind-muscle connection the injuries will be less likely to occur and your training will level up or simply be what it was always supposed to be:-)
I incorporate many elements of yoga practice into training my clients as well as my own practice. In fact I start every single day with a 15-45min of yoga practice first thing in the morning and I encourage you to do the same 🙏 You can find my 15min yoga routines on my YouTube channel

Ayurveda is holistic system of medicine originating from India 🇮🇳 over 5000 years ago which literally means ‘study of life’.
It strives to bring balance between our body, mind, spirit and the environment as all our ailments arise when that critical balance is missing.
It’s so beautifully simple and effective unlike our modern, western medicine which deals with the symptoms, but not the causes and never actually heals anyone in result…
Most people are ok with that as holistic approach requires a lot of input from our side eg daily movement, fresh food preparation as well as suppression of unhealthy urges that are harmful to our bodies and minds such as alcohol, caffeine, processed food and toxic relationships.
But if you have been trying to combat physical and psychological conditions without much success I urge you to look into Ayurveda and it would be my pleasure to be your guide 🙏

AUTUMN 🍂 everyone has their preferred season of the year and when analysed closely so do our bodies in terms of their performance and nutritional/activity preferences.
I like to cycle my training phases and nutrition patterns seasonally- no overthinking, just following intuition.
My energy levels drop during autumn, so in terms of training I like to lower the intensity and focus on mobility work over strength training as well as give more attention to weak/overlooked body parts like the foot or wrist. It gives my body a much needed break after a very active summer and builds a much stronger base for the next training phase.
Nutritionally I always crave warm meals, like soups, curries and roasted vegetables which is a big switch from summer cravings for fruits and salads.
I also like to treat myself to a daily pastry or cake (always freshly baked and from a local source) with coffee after breakfast- it’s probably my happiest part of the day and ‘happy’ is very needed as the days are getting shorter and more gloomy…
How do you adjust your routine in autumn 🍂?!

HEALTH SUPPLEMENTS, I could write a whole essay on that topic, but let’s just cover the basics…
In order to supplement a nutrition plan- you must have a stable nutrition plan in place. If your nutrition is all over the place or you lunch is a meal deal from the local supermarket- you have those aspect to address in a first place😅 Supplements are there to balance out the shortcomings from your daily nutritional habits… secondly the vitamins and minerals get absorbed by our bodies at the highest rate when confined as food (dried green powders are also a decent source) and taken in tablet form are quite useless and literally produce an expensive urine as it all gets expelled in the toilet few hours after consumption (usually accompanied by a very worryingly coloured wee)🤷‍♂️
It does satisfy our brain to some degree, seeing all the nutritional goodness that we’re putting into our bodies, so there might be some placebo effect, but we really want to eat real, whole foods 🙏
Supplements which originate from dried roots of plants do rank higher and I’m not opposed to using them( I personally use ashwagandha and Vit D during the autumn and winter season and have used many more with mostly underwhelming results) I just want to encourage you to focus on your nutrition and eating whole foods most of all and I assure you that no supplements can match the effects🫡

NUTRITION, you are what you eat is the most accurate statement in the history of mankind🙌 I never recommend following diets, counting calories or restraining yourself from eating- our bodies are incredible machines and have a built in self regulation mechanism. They will actively request the nutrients that our bodies are missing…
That is for as long as we eat real, unprocessed food…
Eating packaged, ultra processed foods disturbs our self regulation mechanism and causes weight gain, depression, poor sleep, stomach irritation and propels the downwards spiral… the rule is simple- if the food label includes any colouring agent, emulsifier, gum, food extracts or any ingredient that you can not find in your kitchen- don’t eat it🤷‍♂️ you will be amazed how much your life will change and all the problems will start melting away🙏
