Adult table tennis has been back at myplace since the relaxation of covid measures. So why not come along and have a go. Beginners welcome. Tuesday 10 to 12 and Thursday 1 to 3.

We have a champion at myplace club. Gary Lee suffers with Parkinsons and has been practicing at the club. Gary organised a tournament for fellow sufferers in St Neots and came away with a gold and silver medal. Well done Gary and it shows what determination can do, despite any illness.

With the announcement of the relaxation of covid restrictions from the 19th July, Tuesday adult sessions will re-commence from the 20th and Thursday from the 22nd. Looking forward to seeing you again. Start time 10am for Tuesday and 1pm for Thursday.

To All Members: having seen the latest announcement from the PM I will be delaying the opening of the Club as I had wished on the 22nd June. The info is the 19th July is our next timeline checkpoint which would mean opening on the 20th. This puts us right on top of the July/August holiday period so it would be useful to know if members have any hols booked etc. I will be calling members to advise on the above. For me, I want our members to be safe and feel safe and enjoy the table tennis when they play without all the social distancing and procedures we need to follow.

Looks like the end is in sight. The government covid restrictions are being lifted and I will be re-opening the myplace table tennis club. To ensure as safe a return as possible the club will be back on Tuesday 22nd June. This should make sure all members will have had their two jabs and the club can come back as near to normal as possible.

Continue to stay safe and I look forward to seeing as many back to the club on the 22nd.

Well it's Xmas day and I hope you are all keeping safe and well. Let's hope for a better 2021 and a safe return to the myplace table tennis club. Currently the situation doesn't allow for it but keep the fingers crossed for a return when things improve. Please all stay safe and keep your families safer.🤗

To let members know that the myplace center have advised that they are closed until the 31st August. However, with the easing of the government lockdown on allowing indoor sports this may be revised. I have asked if there is any update available.

The table tennis governing body tte have issued guidelines on how to carry out sessions safely but the center may have council guidelines as well. I will keep members advised.

Needless to say but the club is closed until such time as it is safe to return. Stay safe and I look forward to all my membership coming back and ready to play. Stay safe people.
