The welfare of our members must remain paramount in our minds and so regrettably, JKA England has decided to cancel all courses and competitions until further notice.

This includes:
*South West Regional Championships (18 Apr)
*South East Regional Course (19 Apr)
*K2 International Course (1 - 3 May)
*National Championships (20 Jun)
*JKA Wales Dan Grading (28 Jun)

If you have prepaid for any of these courses our Finance Officer will be processing refunds in due course.

Our next planned event will be the K2 International Course in September and we will confirm that with you nearer the time.

Please stay healthy and follow Government advice.

It is with much sadness we report the passing of Mike Toze. Mike started karate in the 1960’s and was a JKA England Club Instructor in Rochdale for many years. Our condolences and sympathy go out to his family.

Our first course in the New Year is our Kata Course on Saturday 4th January in Hatfield, Hertfordshire (followed by the JKA England Annual General Meeting for Club Instructors).

Our katas will be:
1st lesson --- Basdai-dai, Kankuu-sho and Bassai-sho.
2nd lesson --- Jion, Meikyo and Hangetsu.
3rd lesson --- Enpi, Chinte and Gojushiho-sho.

On behalf of the Executive and Technical Committees of JKA England may I take this opportunity to thank you for your fantastic support this year and to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
